7th March 2018

Laptop’s meeting day is always a good day but there were two extra reasons to celebrate this  month – International Women’s Day and the fact that we had a guest speaker who tacked a subject on the lips of many businesses – GDPR!

Steve Giachardi from the Shiftkey Consultancy gave us some top tips for moving towards GDPR compliance.  He summed up the basics as the ‘three Ls’ – Locate, Label and Lock away and it was really useful to be able to put our specific questions to someone with so much GDPR knowledge.

Lovely to see Frances Alushani back representing Hayes Fences, Gardening and Carpentry and to welcome Tracy Buckle from Everlush Lawncare.  And two more new faces in the shape of Jo Jingree from Maytree Mortgages and Christina Raven from The Body in Harmony Osteopaths
