2nd October 2013

An absolutely fantastic meeting this month and we were delighted to welcome Kathy Bance MBE, local Councillor and prolific charity worker as our guest speaker.  Kathy spoke very eloquently about the sort of issues that can arise around bringing a mega project to fruition.  She has plenty of experience having worked on both the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and Crossrail.  The information she gave us proved to be very useful and timely information with the announcement the following day about the proposal to rebuild the Crystal Palace.  Kathy gave us a much better understanding of the possible stumbling blocks and the potential benefits and opportunities that such a project can bring to a community.

Great to see Claire DeVos of DeVos Consultancy back and also Lynda Hudson from Beckenham Clinical Hypnosis.  It was also good to meet Katrina Blake of Blake Events.
